Big Brother 8 - Charley's fake eviction

Charleys_fake_eviction

Charley has been fake-evicted, folks, but she's back, and she's "more powerful than ever before!" So says, Ziggy, anyway, who has started referring to Charley as if she's some kind of all-powerful Darth Vader character - and maybe she is.

One thing's for sure, though: Charley's fake eviction may not have made her "more powerful", but it has made her even more big-headed, which is something I, for one, didn't think was even possible. How is that possible? Evicted wearing the pair of knickers she's had on for days now (Come on, Carole, we know  you must want to say something about the knickers!), Charley slated her housemates as we knew she would, wrecked Chanelle's already fragile sense of self-esteem, and then pranced back in again. That's what actually happened. In Charley's head, of course, it all played out just a little differently...

When Charley came out of the house, the audience were silent, and holding up signs saying something like "this is not an audience". When she went back in, though, things were very different. Yes, according to Charley, never one to miss a chance to exaggerate, when she walked back up those steps, everyone was wearing t-shirts with her face on them, and carrying banners saying "We love you, Charley!" They were reaching out to her like the sick reaching for Jesus, tears coursing down their faces as they stretched for that one, precious moment of contact with their idol. There were hundreds - no, wait - thousands of them, all chanting Charley's name. Maybe even millions. Oh, how they love her! In fact, when Charley wins the show - which she surely must, after so much adulation - they will probably crown her Queen of the Universe.

Such is the gospel according to Charley, anyway. What's weird about this is that the rest of the house actually seem to believe it. They are panic-stricken, wondering where they went wrong. Maybe they should be throwing water over people, and behaving like utter bitches, they muse. After all, it's working for Charley...

The truth is that it isn't working for Charley at all. She's as disliked as she ever was, but the fake eviction was something of a master-stroke. It has made the biggest ego in the house even bigger, setting Charley up for what must be the biggest fall ever seen on Big Brother. It has made the other housemates paranoid and suspicious. It has made Chanelle clutch her bunny rabbit even harder as she wails in the diary room and stalks Ziggy, demanding to know if it's true that he asked Charley out for a drink.

I think that all worked out rather well, don't you?

whats da point of leaving voting lines fliping open if we know whose going
I admit that Charley does go a bit too far at times, but the majority of times it is actually the other HM's bullying her. They do things knowing it will intentionally wind her up. Charley is a very fit girl but the nation and HM's are trying their utmost best to make her feel that she is unattractive and ugly wait till she comes out, the media will prove the bullies wrong she's set to make a fortune.

Every Friday it's the same thing the public tries their hand at being the bullies by booing and shouting "Get Charley Out" why do they do this? It's to intimidate her and make her feel small in front of the others. The public have also been shouting it outside the house. She was booed as soon as she stepped out the car on the first night.

When Chanelle kept arguing with HM's at the start of BB no-one said anything at all. But when Charley argued all hell broke loose. Charley is a confident outspoken black woman she should be proud of herself for standing up to so much bullying and now she can reap the benefits.
